Headlam a class act in Spa

Chris and Dan Headlam both came out of retirement to begin their father & son racing campaign at Spa recently.

Chris raced for Lanan previously in the Radical SR3 Championship and in his outrageous Lotus Elise in Britcar. Dan raced with Lanan in British F4 when he was team mates with Jake Hughes, who won the championship with the team.

With limited testing and even less experience of Spa, the weekend was purely a learning and getting back in the swing, kind of event.

Without going into qualifying times and detailed race reports. The pair had an absolute ball and came away with pole in their class for both races and then went on to win them both. An amazing start to the limited season ahead due to work commitments.

Chris commented “ It was so good to be with Lanan again, felt just like home and to be racing alongside my son Daniel is just is a dream come true”

Daniel enjoyed the event and also enjoyed being back with the team “ It’s great having your Dad as a team mate, I just need to make sure I’m always faster though”

The team are looking forward to the next round which takes place at Silverstone GP in August
