F4 race winner Struan Moore returned to the BRDC F4 Championship in 2014, switching to champion team Lanan Racing as he eyed a title assault after a strong year in 2013.
Moore finished ninth overall in the 2013 championship and claimed a maiden single seater race win at Snetterton in June with a lights to flag victory from pole position. He finished the year very strongly with three podiums from the last six races, almost taking victory in the penultimate round of the season at Donington Park having led the opening nine laps of the encounter, and was a regular top-10 finisher throughout the year.
The 19-year-old from Jersey began karting at the age of eight and quickly established himself as a multiple podium finisher, winning the Jersey Kart Club Cadet and Junior Mini Max titles in 2006 and 2007 respectively.
In 2011 he graduated into Ginetta Juniors for his maiden season in cars, ending the year 12th overall with three podiums despite having to focus on his school commitments. The following year he got his first taste of slicks and wings competition in Formula Renault BARC, contesting selected rounds, before moving to F4 at the start of last year.
Moore enjoyed a strong year, quietly accumulating points and podiums to finish the season in fifth place. Moore also had his first taste of Formula Three machinery, joining F3 Cup on its trip to Spa-Francorchamps.
